I just got a letter in the mail from a boy who treated me badly a really long time ago. Usually when he writes me letters, they’re long and drawn out and make me feel terrible. But today, the letter was actually very nice and mature and he finally owned up to the mistakes that he made. Even though everything happened so long ago, it was nice to finally hear a sincere apology. It’s always a good feeling to patch up old wounds; maybe I’ll sleep a little bit easier tonight.
